We’re Gonna Miss You, Zeke | Elliott Cut By Dallas Cowboys

We love you, Zeke Elliott - Signed, Cowboys Nation

Ezekiel Elijah Elliott was born on July 22nd, 1995; the day right between BWB1 and BWB2’s birthdays. Although Zeke was born 11 years after two of our back roomsmen, Eliott was able to steal their hearts, and the hearts of Cowboys Nation, when Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys drafted him 4th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.

But now, after 7 years, 109 games played, over 11,000 total yards and 82 total touchdowns serving in the backfield of the Dallas Cowboys, #21 has played his last game in Silver and Blue.

Here is a list of our favourite moments from our boy, the Splash to Tony Pollard’s Dash, Ezekiel Elliott.

High School Baller That Could Jam

Ezekiel Elliott was a baller in high school! I don’t really know the in’s and out’s of basketball to rank his game, but these highlights make him look pretty damn good.

Naturally, the NFL was the obvious choice due to his sub 6 foot frame, but the fact this dude could jam impressed the hell out of me!

Put Some Respect On His Name!

NFL Players are the people you should really listen to when it comes to who does what the best.

When asked, a number of prolific NFL defenders stated that Zeke Elliott was the hardest player to tackle.

This just shows the respect Elliott had around the league. A true force to be reckoned with.

Zeke Had Wheels

He might have slowed down, but Zeke Elliott used to have that speed that made you go “ugggghhhhhffffff”. Just check out this run against the Bengals.

He scorches the Linebacker and Safety in some flashy footwear, to boot.

He Was a Touchdown Machine

Zeke Elliott scored 82 total touchdowns for the Dallas Cowboys throughout his career in Texas. Here are Elliott’s first and last touchdowns as a Dallas Cowboy.

You will be missed, Zeke! Those are big ass shoes to fill, and we wish you nothing but the best. You will always be our Ewok.

Just hope we win a Super Bowl before you do.
