Dallas Cowboys Bold Predictions For 2023
I'm going to try to keep this an annual thing.
The Dallas Cowboys Offseason is ramping up after another disappointing 2022 campaign. There are a lot of rumours circulating throughout the internet, on social media and website forums, and all that jazz.
Here are my Bold Predictions for the Dallas Cowboys in 2023. For the record, I wrote this on February 21st, 2023.
Keep in mind, as we do during our Bold Predictions on our podcast (go like and subscribe to our YouTube if you haven’t), these aren't supposed to be obvious or probable. That's why they are bold!
Malik Davis Rushes For 800 Yards, 8 Touchdowns
With only 38 attempts under his NFL belt, Malik Davis did show some promise. He finished the season with a 4.2 AVG and a tuddy.
Fast-forward to the end of the 2023 NFL season, Malik Davis is going to have a strong second half of the year after being pushed into the 1B option for the Dallas Cowboys when one of the other two starting running backs go down with a high ankle sprain.
Davis takes over duties and finishes strong, averaging 80 yards per game in the final 6 games of the season, with a 4 game touch down streak.
To add to this with a Bonus Bold prediction: I'm also throwing in 300 reception yards to put him over the 1000 all-purpose yard milestone.
Michael Gallup FINALLY Replaces Amari Cooper
This is a very hopeful, bold prediction.
Michael Gallup has an average start to the year before going OFF for a good portion of the middle of the season, leading the league in reception yards over a 4 game period.
Gallup comes back down to earth near the end of the season, but the Dallas Cowboys Nation has spoken; Michael Gallup has officially put a stake in the Amari Cooper conversation.
Bonus Bold for this one: at the end of the season, Gallup eclipses 1000 yards, good for second most for the Dallas Cowboys, and has a healthy 12 touchdowns -- MORE THAN CEEDEE LAMB!
New Draft Pick Opens Up Field For Parsons
I don't know who it is or what position he will be playing, but the Dallas Cowboys keep their draft streak alive and bring another defensive killer to Dallas, Texas.
This allows Micah Parsons to get an extra step on defenders more often, and Parsons achieves the most sacks of his already all star laden career.
In a press conference, Parsons credits the new Dallas Cowboys rookie with helping him eat.
Bonus Bold: The draft pick will play more snaps in a position that is not the same as his college position.
Dallas Cowboys Have 6 Game Win Streak
This one might be the most probable, and certainly the most hopeful, but the Dallas Cowboys have not one, but two 6 game winning streaks!
As the Great Shaq once said: “Yea I said it! Write it down, take a picture, send it to them, you heard me.”
Now, the other side of this is that the Dallas Cowboys finish the season with 12 wins, enough to take the division.
That means there will be some losing streaks too, up to 4 games in length.
Meh, I'll take it.
Bonus Bold: Dallas Cowboys start the season with 4 loses in a row, and everyone looses their shit. Then Big Mike and the Cowboys right the ship and go on a 6 game winning streak after the bye week, lose one more, and finish with another 6 wins, looking good going into the playoffs! (playoffs?!)
