NFL Draft Prospects | Top 21-30 | EJ Savage Big Board @BoysNtheZone

This board is different then CBS or PFF so we hope it provides a different insight!

21. Quentin Johnston 1st/2nd

Johnston is a big WR that can win deep despite his poor speed testing. He’s surprisingly good in the open field and can be a big matchup nightmare if he can be better against press coverage and finds a way to be more competitive in 50/50 balls.

22. Zay Flowers 1st/2nd

Flowers is the premier route runner and overall player maker in this receiver class. He’s a hard-nosed tough slot receiver that reminds me a lot of Antonio brown with his natural instincts, hands, route running ability, and competitiveness at all three levels of the field.

23. John Michael Schmitz 1st/2nd

Schmitz is a Center that I believe has guard flex as well, he’s tough, has a great anchor, excellent strength, and a will to impose over anyone lined across from him.

24. Drew Sanders 1st/2nd

Sanders is my only LB in my top 50, and for good reason. He has athleticism to cover sideline to sideline, but where he’s best is as a situational rusher off the edge. His use of swims in combination with his natural bend around the edge can make him a great addition to any Lb needy team.

25. Calijah Kancey 1st/2nd

What he may lack in size and length, he more than makes up for in speed and power. His first step is impressive at the 3 tech position, and his ability to get quick pressure on the QB from the middle is invaluable.

26. Will Levis

Surrounded by a poor supporting cast, Levis exhibits the tools most scouts would only dream of. He has serious zip on the ball, can make every throw (although his accuracy comes and goes) he’s an above average runner, and he’s coming from a pro style offense.

27. Darnell Wright

Plays strictly on the right side, but he’s got plenty of size and strength to win at the next level. Can be a bully with pancakes and double blocks, but he does lack some consistency. Possible guard if a team wanted to play him there.

28. Dawand Jones

Exhibits great patience as a tackle. He’s not too quick to engage in blocks, and he has nice power. What I didn’t love was his overall movement skills… He’s such a massive human and he has all the traits to be great, but I wanted to see him get out of his kicks quicker and be lighter on his feet.

29. Broderick Jones

Athletic tackle, 2 sport athlete growing up, great hand tech, strong hands overall, aggressive lead blocker, and a 2 time champ. Can be a little over aggressive on some snaps, but overall I’d love to have him on my team.

30. O’Cyrus Torrence

Has the ability and power to succeed at G in the NFL. Can engage and disengage to help with free rushers, has nice push and anchor, but can get off balance allowing rushers with a quick first step to get inside his pads and get a good push.
